Courses are geared towards individuals approximately 15-years and older. Supply kits are available at OFPL on a first-come, first-serve basis using the Supply Request Form at Email or call (505) 863-1291 for more information.

Premiere Dates:
• October 4th, 2021 - Tin Folk Art
Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month by creating Tin Folk Art. Learn how to work with aluminum flashing to create a high-contrast hangable tin art. Inspired by colors and imagery from Hispanic culture.

• October 11th, 2021 - Rainstick & Wampum Weaving
Celebrate Indigenous People's Day by learning how to create your own rainstick and wampum weaving. A musical instrument that was used by many indigenous cultures to summon rain for crops, animals, and thirst. Wampum weaving is popular in Eastern woodland tribes for ornamental, ceremonial, diplomatic, and commercial purposes.

• October 18th, 2021 - Pumpkin Diorama
Get ready for Halloween by making a pumpkin diorama. Create a spine-chilling scenic view within a pumpkin perfect for the upcoming Halloween festivities.

• October 25th, 2021 - Dead Head Planter
Learn how to recycle your old dolls to create your own dead head planters.
