The project consists of installing approximately 1,400 linear feet of 10-inch SDR35 sewer line, 1,250 linear feet of 6” AWWA C900 DR18 PVC force main, a 214’ bridge crossing the Puerco River, and new sewage lift station, 570 linear feet of 8” SDR 35 PVC sewer line and connections to existing sewer lines. Work will also include manholes, valves, fittings, specials, trenching, backfilling, compaction, and transfer of existing sewer services. Sidewalk, curb/gutter, asphalt, and fencing removal and replacement will be required.
This project is located in Gallup, New Mexico within Maloney Ave from McKinley Dr. to Cliff Dr., within McKinley Dr. from Montoya Blvd. to Maloney Ave, and in an undeveloped area along the Puerco River, south of and adjacent to Interstate 40 and east of 2nd Street. Access to the undeveloped area is from south and north sides of the 2nd Street bridge crossing the Puerco River located immediately south of Interstate 40.
