October is one of the busiest months of the year for Fire Department’s Fire Prevention Programs. Year round, fire departments offer programs and learning experiences for their perspective communities. Gallup is no different. October holds fire prevention week with this year’s theme “Not every Hero wears a cape, Plan and Practice your Escape!”, as well as many community Events. During the Month of October the Gallup Fire Department visited with 16 schools to include preschools and Daycares in and around the Gallup Area, Participated in four Public events, and held a Fire Department Open House. In total approximately 3,753 students, teachers, visitors, and Gallupians received Fire Prevention training, educations, and information on how to be fire Safe. Click Here to see some of our Pictures.
