On October 19^th  and 20^th 2018 (two days only) the City of Gallup Office of Emergency Management and the Gallup Fire Department will be teaming up to ensure you and your family are safe this Fall Season. If you currently live in the Gallup city limits or Gamerco and don’t have a smoke detector or are not sure if your smoke detector is working properly, please call the Gallup Fire Department Prevention Office at 505-726-5448 to sign up for an installation appointment. A representative from the Gallup Fire Department will come to your home to either check your existing smoke alarms, or install a new detector. There is no charge for this service.
