[ARCHIVED] Fire Extinguisher Training

Fire Extinguisher Training

The Gallup Fire Department’s Fire Prevention Office offers free Fire Extinguisher Trainings to businesses or groups of people wanting to train on how to use Fire Extinguishers. The training includes a video with discussion on Fire Extinguishers and a hands-on portion where individuals can practice their skills at putting out a virtual fire. This training can be conducted indoors and takes less than an hour from start to finish. On April 13, 2017 the Southwest Indian Foundation (SWIF) took advantage of the Gallup Fire Department’s Fire Extinguisher Training. Provided is a picture of Fire Inspector Emerson instructing a SWIF employee on extinguishing a virtual fire. For more information on how to schedule a fire extinguisher training for your employees or a group of individuals please call the Fire Prevention Office at 726-5448.
