Fire fighters and supporters gathered at 9:00 am at Fire Station #1 to remember and honor those who lost their lives on that tragic day, 14 years ago today, September 11, 2015.
Paying homage to the courageous men and women of public safety and especially firefighters, is marked every year on September 11, to remember all of those who have lost their life to save others, not only on 9-11, but all through the years as well.
Most of the Firefighters employed at Gallup Fire, were in mid-school or high school when the day that marked a dark spot in American history unfolded. Where were you? If you are old enough to remember, you will undoubtedly remember what you were doing when you heard the news.
“Nine – Eleven, May We Never Forget.”
