A special recognition was presented to three City of Gallup firemen during the January 28, 2014 City Council Meeting. An honorable mention was cited to FF James Silva, Lt. Andres Campos and Lt. Jonathan Dayton. Gallup Fire received a special thank you from the Menifee family of Upton, California when the family encountered an emergency medical condition and Gallup Fire EMT's and two Gallup Med Star EMT's went above and beyond their regular duty to help the family transition in a difficult medical crisis.
