• August 8th - Build a Water Filter

In this hands-on activity, students investigate different methods—aeration and filtering—for removing pollutants from water. Working in teams, they design, build and test their own water filters.

• August 22nd - Build a Water Slide

In this open-ended engineering activity, we will be using materials to plan a design and then construct a working water slide that will transport a toy figure without leaking water.
